Register to Attend the Symposium
All participants should register to attend the Name it, Face it, End it: Educating to End Sexual Violence symposium. Registration is free to all Harvard students, faculty, staff, and community members.
What You'll Learn...
Participant Learning Objectives:
Note: Each track will feature workshop sessions covering the following three focus areas.
Name it:
Practitioners will leave with an elevated understanding of the ways sexual violence manifests itself in different school cultures, as well as an awareness of the severity and prevalence of sexual violence in K-12/Higher Education.
Face it:
Practitioners will be able to identify key strategies for intervening and preventing sexual violence in the school context; this includes skills (reproducible actions and facilitation models) and tools (resources and supportive organizations), which will allow each participant to add to their own sexual violence prevention toolkit.
End it:
Practitioners will be inspired to educate, act, and collaborate with others at their school and in their community in order to put into action some of the knowledge and tools learned at the symposium. With this motivation, attendees will leverage the network of people and organizations present at the symposium to further their work in sexual violence prevention.
